Wellbeing

At our school, student wellbeing and learning go hand in hand. Our strong focus on creating an environment where every student belongs, gives students the foundation of feeling safe and ready to learn each day. We take care of all wellbeing needs and incorporate preventative measures to ensure all students' mental, emotional, social and physical health are well taken care of each day.

How we support student wellbeing

Supporting each student’s mental, emotional, social and physical wellbeing is part of everyday school life.

We do this through our whole school approach to students feeling like they belong. Our reimagined 'sporting houses' are now know as Wellbeing Crews. These crews are made up of students from each year level and there are many opportunities throughout the year for them to come together for learning and celebration activities. Through these Wellbeing Crews our students learn the value of contributing to the wider community through student led fundraising activities once per term. Each crew selects a charity that they will design activities to raise funds or goods to support. This strengthens students connection with their crew members and to the wider community they live in.
